Guestbook

What a beautiful, well thought out place. As two adults and a baby it was ideal. We’ve stayed in Mortehoe on a couple of occasions, but nothing tops this place for location or amenities. There’s every conceivable utensil and appliance, to make you want for nothing. But It’s the little touches that make this place special; the shower is powerful, the anti fog mirror, the small dishwasher, the washer dryer. All the things that take the chores out of your self catering holiday, so you get on with your break. Woolacombe is walkable (save some energy for the walk back), good couple of nearby pubs and cafes, a local shop all within 100m, without the hustle of a busy village. (Little Barn)

Adam,

Spent two very relaxing weeks in North Barn Annexe. It accommodated five of us very comfortably with our teenage son on the sofa bed having the added bonus of his own shower and toilet on the ground floor. The cottage itself was lovely - clean, well-equipped and beautifully furnished. Mortehoe is the perfect place for holidays whether you want to visit the beach or do a coastal/countryside walk following one of the many walking maps available for the local area. Definitely one of our favourite places to visit in the UK.

Takwani Family,

Just returned from a wonderful week staying in North Barn Annexe. The location in Mortehoe is perfect and North Barn Annexe itself is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped providing overall high quality accommodation. Would return and also recommend to family and friends. Thanks for such a lovely stay.

The Huck family,

Fabulous stay in North Barn Annexe for a week, the accommodation is very well equipped and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. North Barn Annexe is spacious, beds are comfortable and we felt very much at home. We bought a local map from the museum next door and went walking every day along the coastal paths or took a short drive to Woolacombe beach and Saunton Beach, which is a bit further along the coast. When the tide goes out the beaches are very expansive and a pleasure to stroll along, especially as we have a dog and he loved it. The village is perfect, two pubs with good pub grub, a fish and chip shop, a takeaway, a tea room, a village shop and a post office which sells takeaway coffees! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking again next year!

The Staves family,

What an amazing place North Barn Annexe is, we are so chuffed to have found such an fantastic place in such a brilliant location. It is a very well maintained property which is tastefully decorated and well equipped. We loved being in Mortehoe too, everything is on the doorstep, local shop, pubs, walks, cream teas. Thank you!

The Warrens,

Just returned from a lovely week staying in the delightful Little Barn. The property is spotless, very well equipped, comfortable and cosy. We will definitely return. Thanks again!

Paul Bennett,

Just returned from a great week in Mortehoe staying at North Barn Annexe. Perfect location, walks from the door, 3 pubs and 2 takeaways a post office and a shop! Barn was warm, sunny and comfortable and a perfect place to return after a day out in North Devon!

Ann Marshall,

This is a lovely barn conversion and still very new and immaculate. Wonderful and spacious upstairs with great open plan sitting/dining area with kitchen just off. Good hall area for coats and boots...and dog paraphernalia! Great large secure garden although shared with Little Barn but it was empty at the time so great for us. Fabulous location with village pubs, shops and takeaways to hand (but was not at all noisy!) including wonderful walks straight out of the door. The village carpark is perfect for a second car, just at rear of the property. We will definitely go back again!

Ali,

We absolutely LOVE North Barn. Perfect spot in a perfect village - Thank you, we will be checking availability for next year"!
